Data Protection Notice

Endress+Hauser aims to comply with the obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). We are aware that the PDPA is applicable to our organisation and we take your personal data protection seriously.

Depending on Your Relationship with us, we may collect the following types of Personal Data from you through your interactions with us, either automatically or provided directly by you:

• Contact Information: including your name, email, username, phone number, company, industry and address, as well as the name and address of the dealer that sold you your product;

• Demographic Information: including your gender, age, citizenship, education and profession;

• Financial/Payment Information: such as your billing address and shipping address

• Analytical Information: including pages and products viewed, items added to your shopping cart, products and services you have purchased from us, ads that you clicked on, emails from us that you opened, browser type, operating system (“OS”), Internet Protocol (“IP”) address and device and geolocation information

• Publicly available information: about you from third-party sources, such as the postal service for shipping address verification;

Information and data generated in the ordinary course of business relationship with Endress+Hauser, including but not limited to signatures, answers to questions intended for security verification, follow up on queries or quotations such as:-

• Purchases: We use your Contact Information and Payment Information to allow us to process and fulfill purchases you make

• Customer Service: We use your Contact Information to receive and respond to your questions about products, services or warranties  

• Feedback: We use your username, email address, products purchased, and other user-generated content you may provide when you rate and review our products. Your feedback helps us develop new products and services, maintain quality assurance and debug issues you may identify.

• Website Registration: We may use your Contact Information and Demographic Information when you create an account through any of our services in order to provide you a more personalized user experience.

• Marketing: We may use your Personal Data to determine what products may be of interest to you, provide you with marketing communications (if you have opted-in to receive such communications or otherwise where permitted under applicable law) and to conduct market research.

• To administer and support the hiring and termination employment matters, including without limitation, salaries, expense claims, staff benefits, leave matters, insurance, training, and corporate social responsibility projects;

• To manage and regulate entry and access to our stores, offices, or premises;

• To comply with the relevant laws, regulations, codes of practice or guidelines, and legal or audit requirements;

• Any other purpose for which your consent has been sought and obtained.

In general, the provision of your Personal Data is voluntary, but in certain cases it is necessary in order to enter into a contract with us or to receive our products or services as requested by you.

We do not share your Personal Data to any third party. We may share your Personal Data within the Companies and Associates in Singapore or elsewhere, for matters in relation or incidental to the purposes set out in this Policy. When doing so, we will ensure and require them to have the personal data protection policy or agreement.

If you have provided us the Personal Data of any other individual, you represent and warrant that you have the express consent of such individual for the collection, use and disclosure of their Personal Data under this Policy.

We ensure that there are reasonable security measures and practices in place to safeguard your Personal Data from unauthorized access, collection, usage, disclosure, modification, copying, disposal and/or other risks, and adhere to the applicable laws.

We retain your Personal Data for only so long as is required for the purpose for which the Data was collected, the purposes outlined in this Policy, and for our business and legal purposes.

We make reasonable effort to ensure that personal data collected is up-to-date, accurate and complete. We may charge you a reasonable fee in relation to the request for access to your Personal Data in accordance with the requirements of the PDPA. Alternatively, you may wish to update your personal data by sending your request to info.sg@endress.com.

If you wish to withdraw consent for us to use and disclose your Personal Data, you may make the request to info.sg@endress.com

We may from time to time update this Policy to ensure that it is consistent with future developments, business purposes, industry trends, and/or any changes in applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
